Salam Recipes respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects visitors to do the same. This page explains our copyright position and the procedure for submitting a notice of claimed infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512.
1. Our Content
All recipe text, photographs, videos, and graphics on recipes.salamblog.com/ are original works created by us, unless otherwise credited, and are protected by copyright law.
Permitted: linking to our pages; sharing a single photograph on social media with clear credit and a link back to the original recipe; printing a recipe for personal use.
Not permitted: copying our recipe text or written instructions; republishing our photographs in full posts, e-books, or printed material; using our content to train commercial datasets or to auto-generate derivative pages; removing watermarks or credits.

2. Reporting Infringement Of Your Work On This Website
If you believe that content on this Website infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to [email protected] with the subject line “DMCA Takedown Notice”, including all of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorised to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, including a link to the original if available.
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with the exact URL on this Website where it appears.
- Your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner’s behalf.
Incomplete notices may not be actionable. Please note that under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), a person who knowingly makes a material misrepresentation of infringement may be liable for damages, including costs and legal fees.
3. Our Response
Upon receipt of a valid notice we will act expeditiously to remove or disable access to the material in question, and we will make a reasonable attempt to notify the party who posted it.
4. Counter-Notification
If you believe your material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification to [email protected] containing your signature, identification of the removed material and its former location, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification, your contact details, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court.
5. Repeat Infringers
We will terminate the access privileges of users who are determined to be repeat infringers.
