Comments make our recipes better. This page explains what we welcome, what we remove, and how we handle the data you submit.

Welcome

  • Honest feedback after you have actually cooked the recipe.
  • Questions about ingredients, substitutions, timing, or technique.
  • Reports of errors, along with details of what went wrong.
  • Your own variations and the results you got.

Removed Without Notice

  • Spam, advertising, and unrelated promotional links.
  • Personal attacks, harassment, hate speech, or discriminatory language.
  • Obscene, threatening, or unlawful content.
  • Impersonation of another person or of our team.
  • Copyrighted material posted without permission.
  • Medical, health, or dietary advice presented as professional guidance.

Moderation

Comments may be held for moderation before appearing. We reserve the right to edit for length or clarity, or to remove any comment at our discretion. Removal is not censorship of opinion — negative but respectful feedback stays.

Your Data

When you comment we store the name and email address you provide, your comment text, your IP address, and your browser user agent, which helps with spam detection. Your email address is never published. An anonymised string created from your email address may be sent to the Gravatar service to display your avatar. To request deletion of your comments and associated data, email [email protected]. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Licence

By posting a comment you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual licence to display, reproduce, and adapt it in connection with this Website, as set out in our Terms and Conditions.
